Bath Results / Lost & Found

A beautiful day in mid-Michigan found our boys and girls gaining a little more experience at the Bath Invite Saturday, September 9th.

The varsity races found the girls finishing 5th with the boys finishing 6th. Both Cole Johnson and Ericka VanderLende won the individual Class 1 races with Erika setting her personal record in a 5K. Joining Erika setting personal records in the varsity race were Emma Everhart-Deckhard (Jr), Lexie Allshouse (Fr), Riley Thompson (Fr) and Diana Candela (Jr). Joining the ladies in setting personal records (PRs) were varsity boys Jack Grimm (Jr), Ian Cook (So), Jude Parks (Fr) and Jacob Majoor (So).

The girls and boys JV teams showed our depth by finishing 2nd respectively in a very crowded all school junior varsity race. Congratulations go out to junior Carly Maynard who bested 274 other girls to win the JV race with a personal record time as well. Joining Carly were 9 other ladies and 20 guys in setting their personal best 5K times. While there are too many to list here they can easily be found by visiting the Bath Invite results page and selecting the JV races as a filter.

Well the season has officially begun as the tent crew has started a lost and found. It is the annual fall rite that brings the cross country season to a full speed start. Please see the below images of some fine items left behind Saturday. These are currently in the trailer and the students can pick them up by asking a coach to unlock and retrieve the items.

Up next? Varsity teams head to Michigan State on Friday (early release from school) with everyone else running Saturday morning just up the road at Sparta Middle School. Both races have a parking fee with MSU having an entry fee as well. Please visit the schedule page for more information.
