Rockford Rams Mission Statement
The mission of the Rockford Boys and Girls Cross Country Program is to provide an experience that will encourage each athlete to strengthen his/her competitive spirit and nurture his/her desire for success on and off the course.

Women's
The lady Rams also have a long and outstanding history with five MHSAA Division 1 championships during their streak of 25 consecutive trips to the State meet. Sixteen MHSAA Regional wins and 22 OK Conference championships are just a few of the additional trophies in the display case with the State Championship hardware.
Head Coach Ben Watson leads the Women's team alongside Coach Karen Osborn. Coach Watson has led many current and past Division 1 NCAA athletes and former Miss Cross Country winners (Michigan). Recent winners include Taylor Mannett (University of Michigan) and Lauren Brasure (University of Florida).
Boy's
Coach Andy Martin leads the Men's team and is a Rockford High School alumnus and educator. Assistant Coach Josh Miller is an Aquinas College alumnus who gives an immense amount of energy and technical instruction to the team. Together they led the Boys Cross Country team to consecutive Division 1 State Championships in 2014 & 2015. There is a historic list of accomplishments in the Rockford Cross Country men's program beginning with Rockford's ascension to the first championships in 2000 and in 2002. Rockford took second three years in a row during the heyday of Olympians Jason Hartmann and Dathan Ritzenhein. Equally impressive was the streak of 22 consecutive OK Red Conference championships.
